Over the years in captivity, no one has claimed a tiger to be as huge as 700 pounds in weight and 10 feet long in length. Therefore; we can conclude that Samson from the last two decades (2000 to 2020) should be considered as the biggest tiger in the world.

Similarly; another big Siberian tiger in South Africa's Jugomaro predator park also seemed to be huge and almost looked like 700 pounds in weight. In China's Harbin Tiger Park which is the biggest Siberian tiger park in the world, a huge non-obese tiger is also seems to be weighing 700 pounds as well. Since; no authentic source has claimed a tiger as big as 700 pounds, therefore; we can safely assume that from at least 2 decades Samson should be considered as the biggest tiger in captivity.

Apart from 700 pounds and 10 feet long body length, Samson the tiger possesses a huge body structure. Samson has longer legs, huge jaws and the muscular body with massive body frame. Therefore; it's not just the weight and the body length which makes Samson a huge tiger but also his body frame is built massively as well.

If he sits on his hind legs; Samson roughly looks to be five and a half feet tall while at the shoulder lengths he is more than four and a half feet tall. We did explore some other big tigers in China which would have possibly weighed 700 pounds but they were all obese and overweight tigers. Furthermore; the body frame was almost unsustainable for those tigers.

Despite being huge, Samson seems to be the well-behaved, clam and the peaceful tiger in captivity. He is very well tamed and very playful with his caretakers. He is very nice with his personal trainer i.e., Carl Bovard and responds to his instructions in a very obedient manner. Samson is also very nice with other big cat trainers at the Single Vision Inc. and tries to socialize with them as well.

Even though Samson is the biggest tiger in the world; he seems to be very calm and easy going with his caretakers and other big cats. He is very playful and shows very few signs of aggression.

The tiger is kept in a huge-sized enclosure and his physical condition indicates that he is properly looked-after by its caretakers. Samson is also very calm with other big cats at the park. People flock to the Single Vision Inc. to watch this magnificent big cat i.e., the Samson and many other big cats at the Single Vision Inc.

Lastly; is it possible to watch such a huge tiger as Samson in the wild today? Probably not though! The loss of the tiger habitat all over the world has forced these huge Siberian tigers to be only part of the captivity. Only a few (wild) remain at Russia's Siberian region and the food sources for these tigers are also very scarce in the wild. A century ago it was easier to witness a huge tiger as big as 700 pounds within the Siberian regions. Recently; the observers did witness a rare glimpse of the huge Siberian tiger weighing more than 600 pounds in the wild Siberia (Only Positive Sign).

These days it is almost impossible to watch a tiger as big as Samson weighing 700 pounds in the wild. Very few Siberian tigers have remained and the biggest one in the wild seems to be around 600 to 650 pounds in weight.

But hunting and poaching have destroyed the existence of these magnificent big cats in the wild. Today; it seems like a miracle to watch a tiger as huge as Samson in the wild.
